With 13 years of experience in the telecom and Digital TV industries, Nuno started his professional experience when the telecom market was liberalised in Portugal (2000) during his college studies at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, in Lisbon. At the time, he helped build up an ISP for enterprise clients, which became the second largest in Iberia.
Nuno then entered the world of video delivery platforms collaborating with a Tier-1 vendor providing services for MNOs. Ultimately this became the most deployed platform worldwide. During this period, he was responsible for the team that created the first DVB-H E2E platform and the first DVB-H service in Portugal (also one of the first in Europe). Now after joining Fairmile West, Nuno leads the Video and Service delivery practices providing development management, system integration, test management and architecture services, and is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
